I haven't heard of School Spirits til today. Your description of it compels me to watch! I haven't been in an airplane in a while, but the last film I saw in one was A Wrinkle In Time. It wasn't bad. But it doesn't fully do the book justice.
Parts of it remind me of the more grounded and emotional aspects of 'Twin Peaks.' Though I haven't seen everything yet, I like the pacing of the show thus far.
You'll probably like it all the way through. My view is that there are a few episodes in the middle of the season which could have more to it. But overall I really enjoy it and the potential for a second season is great.
That is the subject of my long article which I hope to finish for mid-September. But long story short I dont find it surprising nor am I thinking that this deserves all the negative discourse it has gotten in the press. The 'erased from existence' claims especially are highly exaggerated.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a great show, and you can buy individual eps on Itunes and maybe Amazon if you don't want to subscribe to Paramount.
Haven't seen Wrinkle nor read the book sadly.
I wonder if the show is on Tubi or Roku ;D. The books are so good, but probably geared more towards children/teens.
I checked out School Spirits recently and it's pretty fantastic if there are some dragging parts to it story wise.

Didn't know there was a Grease series! Hope they went the Delinquent Girl Boss route with it...
(Title note: the grease keeps their hair still and makes their cars move).
Ah, thanks! That makes sense.
What an odd situation!
What do you make of the disappearing nature of movies/tv shows in this new age of streaming?

Very cool! Excited to see that one
