As far as I recall, that footage was never included in any cut because the material setting it up wasn't shot. Bill was originally introduced via a high-stakes poker game and this would lead into the Jai White fight scene. But then his original intro was dumped during production, so the fight scene stopped making sense story-wise.

Thank you! I'm definitely gonna see it in 70mm if I can. Wish it wasn't a December release though - those theaters are more accessible in the Summer.
